I do it too. I read, share, write, tweet and talk about the optimal ways to do whatever. The best ways to care for your problem skin, use a yoga wheel or let that crappy client go have all been topics born from my keyboard. I love to share my ideas.
But, they are just that. Ideas.
My genuine hope for readers is that I inspire them to think about new things. I strive to ignite curiosity that leads to action. Then, they can come to their own conclusions.

I was inspired to write this post after chatting with my friend Martin on Twitter. He posted, “It’s very easy for someone to say what works on social media when something works for them. But social media works differently for everyone. Find your own form of success.”
Ahhh, personal success! I love this topic!
This. And I’d have to add social media, work, exercise, dietary needs, clothing style… the way you live your life! ?? Thanks for the convo starter, @martinlieberman! https://t.co/55FBTHzABj

As a writer working in content marketing, yes, social media marketing proficiency is a key skill. But, there are no absolute rights or wrongs, unless you’re doing something unethical or illegal. The rest is all discovered through experimentation (and data analysis).

What types of posts get the most comments? Do viewers enjoy videos or still photos better? Should you use hashtags? What topics get the most click-throughs?
I then extended the conversation to include, well, everything!
The same line of thought applies to how we live our lives. You can read all about how I care for my eczema. That doesn’t mean my strategies will work for you. But, I do hope it puts you in the mindset of taking care of your skin and feel more hopeful about your course of action. I hope you gain confidence to talk with your dermatologist about the best options for you and try new treatments — all so you can get relief.
In the end, you gotta do you. It doesn’t matter what the top 10 lists suggest or what’s making headlines this week. Find what works for you and unapologetically stay the course.
I wear bright pink lipstick to doctor’s appointments. I carry rocks in my pocket. I use jojoba oil as a makeup remover. I make a living selling sentences.
Why? It works for me and makes me happy.
Until next time,
Choose healthy!
Angela
