Yoga at the Airport

Yoga at the Airport

Yesterday evening was spent packing. This time the hubby is off to Las Vegas for his annual work conference. As we stuffed last-minute things into his suitcase and went over his flight plans, I asked if he was flying through Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport — like I did when traveling to Las Vegas earlier in the year.

I was excited to tell him that the airport has a yoga room. What? Yes! You can do yoga on the go! If you are traveling through O’Hare and know you’ll have a bit of time between flights, don’t forget to wear yoga pants!

The airport’s yoga room is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and even provides mats and disinfecting wipes to keep them clean. The 15′ x 16′ room features a video minor showing yoga poses and nature scenes while soft music plays overhead.

When I was traveling, I tried to find the room, but it was on the other end of the enormous airport, so I didn’t get a chance to try it out. But if I have another four-hour layover, I will plan to make the hike to the Mezzanine Level of the Terminal 3 Rotunda.

Have you ever done yoga at an airport?

Until next time,
Choose healthy!
