Wild for Whimzees

Wild for Whimzees

Each night after diWild for Whimzeesnner, the dogs get a treat. Usually it’s a crunchy dog biscuit or a chewy dog jerky treat. Last night Belle and Orion were spoiled with one of their favorite durable chews, Whimzees.

The gluten-free, vegetarian dental chews are one of the longest lasting edible chews we’ve found for our two large breed dogs.

In the past we’ve tried the Alligator and Stix shapes that we picked up at our local Petco store. Last night they dove into the Toothbrush chews. It took them about fifteen minutes to each gnaw down half of their treat. Then, we took the remainder away for them to enjoy later. Why? Our dogs are powWild for Whimzeeserful chewers and sometimes their gums bleed, so we make them rest after having a hard chew.

I really like how the dogs can hold these chews while laying down. The handle of the Toothbrush chew has ridges that make it easy to fit the treat between their paws.

These chews don’t contain any artificial colorings or dyes. The brown handles of the toothbrushes are colored with malt extract, the orange

parts are from annatto fruit extract and alfalfa extract provides the green tint.

As a bonus, these chews don’t have any funky odors — like cow hooves or pig ears.
