The Unibrow Saga Ends Here

I am not ashamed to say it. I have wild eyebrows. They’ve always been thick, long and often referred to as caterpillars.

Thankfully, as a teenager I learned about facial hair removal. I’ve experimented with everything from waxing and cream hair removers, to shaving and bleaching. After experiencing chemical skin burns more than once, I’ve learned that waxing works best for me. So, when Nad’s asked me to try out their new Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper, I was thrilled! (They must have seen an “ungroomed” pic of me online. Oy!)

The last two times I needed to whisk away stray eyebrow hairs, this product has been my go-to.  I love that it doesn’t have any funky odors and it doesn’t make my skin break out or peel away like some stronger chemical-based cream removers have done in the past.

The package includes moist cleansing wipes to whisk away makeup and leave your skin perfectly clean before waxing. Then, you use the handy mascara tube-size wand to target the room-temperature wax directly at the hair you wish to remove. This wax delivery method is so much easier, accurate and less messy than other waxing products I’ve tried. Finally, you apply a small cloth strip over the hair and wax, rub and pull away.

Since my hair is coarse, it did take me a few swipes to get the look I wanted, but that’s fine with me. After I was done, I applied a little coconut oil to the area and the redness went away in less than an hour.

So, what’s your favorite way to keep stray eyebrows groomed? Tell me in the comments below!

Until next time,
Choose healthy!
