Teeny, Tiny Heirloom Tomato Plant

Teeny, Tiny Heirloom Tomato Plant

This year when I planted the garden, I tried to buy a variety of plants. I grabbed yellow tomatoes, an unmarked vining mystery plant and my first ever heirloom tomato.

I’ve been happily surprised by the short, bushy features of the Brandywine Heirloom Tomato plant. My other tomatoes areIMG_2912_heirloom_tomato maybe 6 feet tall, toppled over and general messes. But, look at this cute little heirloom! It’s almost the same height as my green peppers, dense and bushy.

The red tomatoes it yields are smaller than the yellows, but they taste amazing and are easy to pick since the plant isn’t a spider web of branches. I’ll be choosing this type of tomato again next year, for sure!

Did you plant any heirloom seeds or seedlings this year? Do they usually stay this small?

Until next time,
Choose healthy!
