Strawberries and a Bunny

The only thing that sounded good for dinner tonight was strawberries.

Chilled. Juicy. Ripe.

When I headed out to the backyard to eat the fruit and soak in the last of the day’s sun. I had an unexpected dinner partner — a cute little bunny! He happily chewed his clover while I ate the berries.

I tossed him a berry and put out a fresh bowl of cold water. I can’t imagine living outside in a fur coat during these humid summer days.

Munch on, little bunny! Eat as many weeds as you want. It saves me from doing extra yard work!
