Nature’s Beauty

Nature's Beauty

In addition to writing, I love being behind my camera.

The other day I was shooting some photos to accompany an article about applesauce. I decided to spend a few minutes taking some random shots of the apples.

Stacked. Wet in a bowl. Close-up.

When I started editing through the photos to pick out what to use for my writing assignment, I came across this image. It’s not a good fit for the article, but I think it’s beautiful all on its own.

The green tip of the stem shows the apple is fresh-picked.
Corn dust from a nearby field mutes the robust red color.
Scars and imperfections prove it was locally grown and ripened outside.

It was almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

Until next time,
Choose healthy!
