Natural Urinary Incontinence Pills for Dogs

Natural Urinary Incontinence Pills for Dogs

Incontinence isn’t just for older folks. Dogs can have trouble holding their bladders too.

My girl Belle is an (almost) 11-year old weimaraner and for the past two or three years we’ve been giving her a natural, herbal-based supplement to improve her bladder functioning. Our vet wanted us to initially try Proin, but after reading about the side effects of the drug, we decided not to go that route.

Instead we’ve had wonderful success with Nutri-Vet Bladder Control Dog Chewables and NaturVet Bladder Support Plus Cranberry Dog Tablets. Both are chewable tablets that my dog will take plain.

It took a good two weeks for the pills to build up in her system and take effect, but now we rarely have any urine accidents in the house. Before, she’d lose her bladder a few times a day, usually while sleeping.

These two bladder support medicines have given our little girl her life back! Why? Whenever she’d have an accident, she’s get sad, try to lick up the evidence and often hide. Now she’s confident, clean and feeling much better. She can now hold her bladder when she sleeps, and only needs to be let outside to potty every 4 hours or so — which is much less frequently than before!

Do you have a dog with bladder control problems? Talk to your vet about over-the-counter Nutri-Vet Bladder Control Dog Chewables and NaturVet Bladder Support Plus Cranberry Dog Tablets. If you have any questions I can answer (as a daily user of bladder control pills for my dog) let me know! We are so glad we found these natural options to keep our dog healthy!

Until next time,
Choose healthy!
