Today my little girl is having surgery. One of her old lady lumps has changed shapes and needs to be removed. We will be testing it to see if it’s cancerous.
Belle is a true super dog. She’s survived a cancer tumor removal next to her eye, stitches in her foot, bloat surgery, heart disease and two crazy parents that smother her with kisses daily.
So, I thought I’d keep today’s post light and fun by sharing some of my favorite photos of her through the years. She will turn 12 this fall.
Here’s Belle and her boyfriend/brother (depends on the day) Orion getting ready for yet another adventure in the Jeep. I believe this was snapped just before heading off for the family honeymoon in northern Minnesota.
Belle is ruled by her tummy. She loves to eat anything and everything, from bowls of lettuce to cake. Here she’s guarding our Easter dessert.
One Halloween I dressed as Belle. Don’t you love her huge ears?

And last but not least, here is baby Belle. I’m guessing this photo is from January 2005 when she was 10 to 12 weeks old. Look at those tiny paws!
