It’s that magical, transitional time of year in the Midwest. Crisp evenings slow the growth of grass lawns as the maples turn hues of gold, crimson and orange. Days get shorter. We prepare for the chilly rest of winter and impending blankets of snow.
Personally, I find it rejuvenating and inspiring. Leaves beneath my feet crunch, pumpkins smile on porches and squirrels work tirelessly burying nuts in our front yard.
Nature is active.
My favorite thing to do it look up. The setting sun reflected through autumn leaves fills me with energy and resilience.
Last week, I wrote about rest and finding ways you can energize yourself. For me, it’s being outdoors. How do you recharge?
Until next time,
Choose healthy!
