I use a lot of vinegar. It’s the base for my homemade cleanser, freshens my laundry and sanitizes store-bought produce.
For the last few months, I’ve decided to hang on to the sturdy vinegar jugs to convert them into a fun craft for Halloween.
Hello, jug ghosts! And, vampires, pumpkins and other creepy creatures of Halloween!
These could also be made with upcycled milk jugs.
Start by soaking each jug in a sink full of warm water to remove the labels. Then, empty the water from the jugs and let them air dry. Once dry, simply use a permanent marker to draw spooky faces on the jugs!
Finally, tuck a battery-operated tealight candle or glow-in-the-dark necklace in each jug and use the illuminated decorations to line your porch or walkway during the Halloween season. There’s no need for scissors or knives, so this is a good project for kids!

Until next time,
Choose healthy!
