It’s no secret. Amazon is my virtual shopping mall, complete with groceries, yoga supplies and books.
I almost never leave my house to shop since signing up for Amazon Prime. Why? There’s a wider variety of options online than at the stores in my small community. And on rough health days, I can shop in my slippers from the comfort of my desk. The convenience is addicting!

Here’s a round-up of some of my favorite health-focus finds this past year. Maybe one or two of these ideas will help you too?
1. AirCare Humidifier
We just added the AIRCARE MA0800 Digital Whole-House Console-Style Evaporative Humidifier to our home a few weeks ago. It’s been helpful in keeping dry skin, bloody noses and eczema in check. This model is quiet and easy to fill!
2. CeraVe
When I discovered I have three forms of eczema, my dermatologist introduced me to the CeraVe line of skin care products. The blue-label CeraVe Moisturizing Cream is my daily go-to!
3. Louise Hay Books
You can’t go wrong with the mindful insights of Louise Hay. I recently picked up The Essential Louise Hay Collection, a combo book that contains three of her self-healing and personal growth-focused books in one. It’s a coffee table staple in my house!
4. Yoga Mat
If you’re thinking of trying out a yoga class, but have bony knees or tender joints, I highly recommend the extra squishy 1/2″ BalanceFrom GoYoga yoga mat. I have one in green and another in purple. I might add a third one to my collection soon!
5. Laundry Soap
I’m trying to reduce my exposure to synthetic fragrances and dyes, especially ones that irritate my sensitive skin. I am in LOVE with Mrs. Meyer’s Detergent in the baby blossom scent.
6. Epsom Salt
I started adding epsom salts from WestLab to my baths and my evening restless legs have improved, thanks to the extra dose of magnesium in the salt. I also love a salt bath to calm itchy, hot skin during an eczema flare.
7. Computer Glasses
I stare at screens all day long, from my computer and smartphone, to the television. So, I have a pair of GUNNAR Optiks Enigma Computer Glasses to keep afternoon headaches and eye strain away. They are amazing and travel with me when I’m working on a laptop too!
8. Essential Oil Necklace
I work with aromatherapy to keep my nausea and fatigue from rheumatoid arthritis in check. I love my Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser Necklace and wear it everywhere, including yoga class.
9. Beeswax Lip Balm
I’m addicted to lip moisturizers and have found every single Burt’s Bee’s formula to be hydrating and non-irritating. Check out this multipack.
10. Shampoo
I love, love, love all of the Desert Essence hair and skin care products. They’re naturally fragranced and many formulas are gluten-free, so they’re in my shopping cart each month. One of my favorite shampoos is the Italian Grape formula. It’s safe for color-treated hair, too!
