Apple Pickin’ Day

It’s apple season!

Yesterday the hubby and I took the two dogs to Autumn Grove Orchard just outside of Sioux City and spent the afternoon hand-picking fresh apples.

Belle and Orion enjoyed investigating each row and sniffing out the ripest, reddest fruit for our bag. We ended up with Gala, Fuji and Golden Delicious apples. I can’t wait to turn them into homemade applesauce.

We also picked up some (amazing!!!) homemade snickerdoodle cookies and met lots of nice people who gave the pups belly rubs.
